Shantel Hubert is an accomplished educator, vocal artist, songwriter, and recording artist with over 30 years of industry experience. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with distinguished artists such as Jean Carne, Dexter Wansel, Instant Funk, Howard Hewitt, and the late Bunny Sigler. Her album Arize: It’s Time to Shine, recorded at the renowned Philadelphia International Studios founded by Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, was released through Universal Records.
She has performed on prominent stages, including the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, and the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival in Castries, Saint Lucia. Her extensive musical repertoire spans rhythm and blues, gospel, reggae, musical theatre, pop, and jazz. Teacher Shantel’s vocal versatility and soulful authenticity consistently captivate audiences.
Teacher Shantel began her music career as a lead vocalist for Coffee, an Arizona-based cover band, where her distinctive melodic style enriched the group’s R&B and jazz performances.
